There are a few extra vehicles on the road, and you may see some work at various spots along the route to our place or have to wait a moment for workers to let you pass on the road, but the activity won’t otherwise affect your stay at Great Glen Lodges.

Our views and the property’s atmosphere are the same as ever.

As Scotland transitions to net zero, new and fascinating infrastructure projects are going up all over the Highlands.

It’ll be interesting to witness a small part of a greener earth’s future unfold here.

In our area, a pumped hydro storage scheme to manage all the renewable energy being generated in the region is under construction in the hills a mile away.

One immediate benefit of this work is that near our property we’ve gained a beautiful new path diverting the Great Glen Way. Our guests who’ve walked it found it very good indeed.
